Here’s the rules:
1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog.
2. Post the award logo on your blog.
3. Answer the ten questions asked by the blogger who nominated you.
4. Nominate seven blogs. (I did 5)
5. Ask ten questions to your nominees. (I did 8)
1. Do you have a pet? What’s their name, what is their personality like?
I do not have a pet living with me due to the instructions of my landlord. However, I my first cat is still alive and kicking at my parent’s house. His name is Mr. Kitty and I found him when I was four. He is pushing 20 years old and never lets me down. The best memory I have of him is the kitty kisses he uses to place upon my nose when I was sad and whenever my sister and I would get in a fight, he would pee in her room. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is!
I am also moving in with my friend who has two cats of her own, Sterling and Boo Boo (Sebastian). Sterling is mischievous and Boo is refined. I cannot wait to become their second mommy! How progressive haha
2. Has your blog’s focus changed since you started it? If yes, how so?
My blog has evolved so much by my interests but has always stayed true to my theme; whatever is going on in my head is what I put out there. I don’t support things I don’t use, I cannot preach what I do not practice. I used to eat meat, now I am outspokenly against that. I used to lift weights, now I primarily run. The blog has always been me.
3. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I love blogging because it’s fun to share my life with anyone who wants to read. I do not offer much life advice, just personal experience. I like writing about things I have opinions on and reading other people’s ideas. I have met so many people and learned so much from blogging that I don’t know where I would be without it. I have save so many people out loud rants by journaling them on my blog. You’re welcome world!
4. What is your favorite vegetable?
5. Who in your life do you most admire?
I admire my little brother. He is a missionary in China, but also is his own person. He seems unaffected by the childhood he had and became his own person anyway. I wish it was easier for me to let go of my childhood. He has taught me how to move on and be myself. I miss him!
6. What is your favorite book/author?
I love Jodi Picoult books and almost eat them as soon as they come out. I also love any British author because their snarky sense of humor makes me laugh (Confessions of a Shopaholic, anything by Jane Green). Lately I’ve been working my way through all the memoirs of the ladies from SNL. I just finished Amy Poehler’s book. Finally, I love John Grisham because he has taught me to look at every situation in different ways (from a court standpoint)
7. What is unique about you/your personality?
I HATE HATE HATE asking for help. I almost get anxiety and the shakes from it.
8. Do you have any siblings? What was it like growing up with/without them?
Yes. I have siblings. There is a love-hate relationship here. I’ve gone through it, I don’t want to again.
9. Which do you prefer, savory or sweet?
Both…actually I love salt…but I need sweet too….oh man…how about salted candy?
10. What is your favorite thing to eat/drink in cold weather?
Vanilla almond milk. Actually I love that in any weather. The best thing to warm me up though is an almond milk steamer with blackberry syrup. I created this at CTB and it takes the edge off when it’s freezing outside.
If you could go for a run with a celebrity who would it be?
How long do you need to get to know someone before you fart in front of them?
What is your favorite workout?
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If you could run your own business, what would it be?
Would you rather be wealthy or find love?
Would you rather be happy or find love?
Would you rather have children or pets (if you could only choose one)?
